Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Allstar, a trading card collection-tracking and market-data service (“Service”) operated by Allstar Interactive LLC (“Allstar,” “we,” “us”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and the age of majority where you live, you confirm that you have a parent or guardian’s permission. The Service is not intended for users under 13.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the security of your account credentials. Notify us promptly at hello@allstar.io if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized account use that you did not promptly report.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it current.

3. The Service

Allstar lets you track your trading-card and sealed-product holdings, set price watchlists, view historical price data, and (optionally) publish public share links to your portfolio, binders, or collection. Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time.

Allstar is provided as an informational tool. Card and sealed-product market prices shown in the Service are derived from third-party data sources (currently Scrydex). Prices are estimates for informational purposes only and are not financial, investment, or trading advice. Actual transaction prices vary. Do not rely on Allstar pricing for financial decisions; verify with the marketplace where you intend to buy or sell.

4. User content

“User Content” means any data you submit to the Service: portfolio entries, lots, cost basis, binders, share-link configurations, watchlist entries, alert targets, display name, avatar, and any text you enter.

You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant Allstar a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and reproduce your User Content solely as necessary to operate the Service for you and, where you have opted in, to render the public share links you’ve published.

You represent that:

• You have the right to submit your User Content.
• Your User Content does not violate any law, third-party right, or these Terms.
• Display names, avatar URLs, and any other publicly visible text you submit do not contain hateful, harassing, defamatory, or unlawful material.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, headless browsers) to access the Service beyond what’s permitted by robots.txt and any documented public API.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service.
• Probe, scan, or stress-test the Service or attempt to defeat any rate limit, access control, or security mechanism.
• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm another person.
• Use the Service in violation of applicable law, including export-control and sanctions law.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or its data outputs except as expressly permitted.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

6. Third-party trademarks and content

Trading card games, card names, set names, card images, and related material referenced or displayed in the Service are the property of their respective owners.

Allstar is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to Nintendo, The Pokémon Company International, Game Freak, Creatures Inc., Wizards of the Coast, Hasbro, Konami, or any other trading-card game publisher or trademark holder. All product names, logos, and brands are property of their respective owners. Use of these names, logos, and brands does not imply endorsement.

Card art is displayed for collection-tracking and identification purposes. If you are a trademark or copyright holder and believe content on the Service infringes your rights, contact hello@allstar.io.

7. Data attribution

Card catalog and pricing data are provided by Scrydex (https://scrydex.com). Allstar is a licensed Scrydex consumer; Scrydex retains all rights in the underlying catalog and pricing data.

8. Public share links

You may opt in to publishing public share links for your portfolio, binders, or collection. When you publish a share link:

• Anyone who has the URL can view the data you’ve chosen to expose, without signing in.
• The link remains active until you disable it in the app. Once disabled, the URL stops resolving, but copies (caches, screenshots, third-party indexes) may persist outside our control.
• You are responsible for what you choose to expose. Do not publish a share link to a portfolio you don’t want to be publicly visible.

We may unilaterally disable a share link that violates these Terms, including links containing hateful, harassing, or otherwise unlawful content.

9. Service availability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy, or availability of any feature. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features without notice.

Alpha / pre-release service. Allstar is currently offered as an alpha, pre-release service. Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time, and the Service may be unavailable, interrupted, or discontinued without notice. You acknowledge that your data — including collection, portfolio, watchlist, and account data — may be modified, reset, or permanently deleted at any time, and that we have no obligation to preserve, back up, export, or migrate it. You are responsible for keeping your own records of anything you wish to retain.

Pricing data may be delayed, missing, or incorrect — provider syncs run on a schedule and may experience outages. Historical prices reflect snapshots taken at a daily cadence and are not real-time.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• The Service is provided WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
• We are NOT LIABLE for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or lost goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
• Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) US $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitations above. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Allstar Interactive LLC and our officers, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, or damages (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of (a) your User Content, (b) your use of the Service, © your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any third-party right.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause, including for violations of these Terms or for prolonged inactivity.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership of User Content, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) will survive.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of those courts.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. For material changes we will provide additional notice (in-app banner or email) before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Miscellaneous

• Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Allstar regarding the Service.
• Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
• No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision.
• Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
